I am a mother to 2 young girls, ages 5 and almost 2. I have been working on my fitness since May 2009, to prepare for my wedding. As most brides want, I wanted to be nicely toned for my wedding dress. So my husband and I did P90X. Wow, what great results! Shortly after our wedding I found out I was pregnant. 9 months later I had our first daughter. I gained 50 pounds and did not lose the weight as everyone said I would by breast feeding. I found the last 20 pounds just wouldn't come off! It was hard at the time to work out because I was also working on my Masters Degree and that left me very little time to be active.
In between pregnancies, I tried a couple more workouts, Turbo Fire, 10 minute trainer and Hip Hop Abs. Shortly before my second pregnancy, we found Les Mills Combat. Wow, what an amazing workout! I loved it, but then I found out I was pregnant again. So I stopped just short of completing the 2 months.
After baby #2, in which I gained another 55 pounds, I really felt the need to get back into shape. I tried working out too soon afterwards and pulled the muscles in my abdomen. In the spring of 2014, I kept hearing about the 21 Day Fix. I thought, this is something I could do. So I bought it and the containers plus the workouts really helped me get back to my pre-baby #2 weight (not my overall pre-baby weight).
Once I went back to work after my maternity leave was over I really struggled to keep my fitness in check. So in the Spring 2015, a group of friends and I did a challenge group together with P90X3. By having the challenge group, it really helped with motivation and with accountability.
Now, once the baby goes down for her nap I get one workout in, usually Cize because it is just so fun! Now I am just working on dropping the last 15-20 pounds. I am committed to my workouts and drinking Shakeology and using the containers with the 21 Day Fix to help me get there!
