Shakeology has been key for me in my journey to lose my baby weight and be healthy and strong.
When we first did P90X back in 2009, Christian bought several different brands of shakes for us to try. And we were always disappointed. They tasted chalky, or like vitamins, had a bad after taste or just didn't blend well. So when we were doing P90X Tony Horton kept talking about Shakeology on the DVDs. Christian decided to give it a try. Of course I was hesitant because we had tried so many different shakes and we were always disappointed.
Well.....
We were so surprised how amazing it tasted! We were hooked. The chocolate ACTUALLY tasted like chocolate, not some powdery mix that just looks like chocolate. It was seriously my favourite meal of the day! Who doesn't love having chocolate every day!
Christian laughs at me because I put in so many ice cubes (like 11). I love having lots to drink and that way the shake lasts that much longer!
We decided to become discount coaches with Beachbody so we could take advantage of the 25% discount on the shakes. While these shakes are more expensive than the ones you buy at the grocery store, I believe you get what you pay for. I would rather pay a tiny bit more for much better taste and quality! And with the discount as a coach you really aren't paying that much more!
Right now because I am teaching full time, have to take the baby to daycare, and get out the door by 7:20 to get to work early to prep, so Shakeology is my go-to for breakfast! I might swap it for lunch some days so I can have a shake with some teacher colleagues. Having it at work some days will allow for me to prep (aka photocopy) and eat at the same time!
